Violetta Pantoja Sanchez was born on January 19, 1946, in Nixon, Texas, to Teofilo G. Pantoja and Trinidad B. Pantoja. She grew up with five siblings: Deanna Sanchez, Soila Martinez, Nancy Cuellar, Daniel Pantoja, and David Pantoja (in the presence of the Lord).
At a young age, Violetta moved to Arizona, where she spent most of her life. It was there that she met the love of her life, Samuel M. Sanchez. They were married on March 31, 1979, and together they raised two children: Dalila M. Sanchez and Samuel P. Sanchez.
Violetta was a devoted Christian woman whose faith guided her every step. She loved God deeply and praised Him at every opportunity—even in her final moments. Her gentle spirit, compassion, and warm smile touched everyone she met.
She dedicated many years to caring for children, working as a childcare provider at a daycare center and later as a bus monitor for special needs children. Outside of work, Violetta enjoyed coin collecting and writing in her journal. She had a generous heart and spent her later years searching through catalogs for gifts to share with loved ones.
Her kindness, love, and unwavering faith will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but now rests in peace with God and family who have gone before her, in the beauty of Paradise.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” – Psalm 23:1-3
