Theresa Lynn Land

First Lady - Theresa Lynn Land (Goodbar) of Peoria, Arizona

Entered into Eternal Rest on September 30, 2020

Theresa was born August 28, 1968 to Parents; Linnie J. Weber (Potts) & Enoch E. Lucero.  She had the privilege of being raised by Evangelist James L Goodbar, by whom the seeds of the Word of God were first sown in her life.  She is a native of Phoenix, Arizona and dedicated her life to Christ and Ministry at a young age.  She began dating her future husband in October of 1983 after being smitten during a Gospel Tent Meeting that Her father (James L Goodbar) held on south Central Avenue in Phoenix AZ.  She faithfully labored alongside her Husband in Ministry from December of 1987 until the day she laid down the burdens of this life. 

Her accomplishments were not necessarily recognizable by the accolades of the elite, but rather through the hearts of those she impacted the most.  Many of those being the hurting, addicted, and wounded young men and women who had suffered loss, experienced abuse, or the cast-a-ways of our society.  She loved the less fortunate.  She was humbled through the idea of helping those that struggled to help themselves.  She contained the innate ability to recognize worth in people who saw themselves as worthless.  She not only recognized that worth, but also released in them the confidence for them to believe in themselves.  She “Loved them to Life”!                  

Theresa is preceded in death by Sophia Jane McDonald.

We Honor Her Husband of 34 years Pastor, Stephen Land, Father - James Goodbar, Father – Enoch Lucero, Mother - Linnie Weber, Step-Mother - Letha Lucero, Step-Mother – Dorcus Goodbar.  She had a very special couple who are not only relatives but impacted her very deeply: her Uncle Isaiah & Aunt Audrey Lucero.  

We Celebrate her Brothers – James Goodbar, Clinton Goodbar, Sisters - Sheri Scott, Melissa Atchley, & Tawny Lucero. 

We Admonish her Daughter - Tiffany Aguilar & son-in-love Robert Aguilar, Son – Stephen Land Jr., Daughter – Heather McDonald & son-in-love Jason McDonald, Son – Joshua Land.  Grandchildren: Dylan, Israel, Judah, Noah, Selah, Stephenie, Ephraim, McKenzie & Michael. 

We also recognize a host of Aunt’s Uncle’s, Niece’s Nephew’s, Cousin’s and Extended Children whose lives were all impacted by the heart and loving life of First Lady Theresa Land.
