Roosevelt J. White, Jr. was born to Roosevelt J. White, Sr. and Artillia M. White on December 8, 1959, in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Mt. Enterprise, Texas and completed high school at Henderson High School in Henderson, Texas. He moved to Baytown, Texas and became a Truck Driver for many years. Roosevelt never married nor had children of his own, but he helped his friend to raise Benjamin and Megan. He gave his life to the Lord in 2024 and attended Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Phoenix, Arizona.
Roosevelt was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt J. White, Sr. and Artillia M. White, his brothers, Andrew L. White and Ronald B. White, his sister, Patricia A. (Bernard) Reynolds, and his stepbrother, Johnny Williams.
Roosevelt leaves his beloved family and friends to celebrate his home going: his stepmother, Gloria A. White of Caldwell, Texas; two brothers, Michael W. (Sonja) White, Sr. of Mt. Enterprise, Texas and Chenevert White of Houston, Texas; a sister, Rosetta White of Glendale, Arizona; two half-sisters, Barbara G. Cooper of Killeen, Texas, and Shaunda K. Curtis of Bryan, Texas; two stepbrothers, Danny Williams and Freddie Williams of Houston, Texas; three stepsisters, Lorie A. Carrier and Lavonne Oguntope of Houston, Texas and Lavern Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends and one special Pastor Felton King.
