Nakai Kevin Jones known as “Kai”, “Daddy”, “Doodz” was born September 2, 2010, he was a beloved son, left us at 15.

After a life of stubborn smiles and unstoppable spirit. No matter what came his way,14 surgeries and a constant fight, Nakai woke up with a grin.

He graduated 8th grade despite every obstacle. An only child and a total daddy’s boy, he shared special connections with Tata, Uncle Mike, Nana, Tia, and all the family—each bond was its own magic.

He was a music lover, a ladies’ man, and his stuffed animals were his partners in crime. He loved peek-a-boo, always cracking up when we pretended to look for him under the sheet. His laughter and spirit will always be with us
