In Loving Memory of Martin “Alex” Perez May 8, 1992 – May 18, 2025

"Live in the Moment. Find the Light Inside."

2 Corinthians 4:6 "For God… made his light shine in our hearts."

A Life Remembered

With broken hearts and open arms, we celebrate the life of Martin “Alex” Perez, he entered into rest in May 2025; the date of passing is officially recorded as May 18. Though his time here was far too short, Martin “Alex” presence left a lasting impact that will live on through his children, his family, his faith, and the love he poured into the world.

A Father First

Alex’s greatest joy and proudest identity was being “Dad.” He was a loving, hands-on father to Adream (13), Ariana (10), and Ezekiel (5) his light, his purpose, and his reason for moving forward, even on the hardest days. Whether it was trips to the movies, endless hugs, or late-night talks full of wisdom, Alex made sure his kids always felt safe, valued, and deeply loved.

A Life of Connection and Charisma

Born on May 8, 1992, Alex was the beloved son of Linda Facio and Martin Perez Sr. and deeply cherished by his bonus parents Pablo Facio and Sofia Perez. He was the only child on his mother’s side and a proud big brother to siblings Angel, Joshua, Elijah, Angelica, and Saydee Perez.

Martin “Alex” had a one-of-a-kind bond with his grandparents — his Nanas and Tatas: Ida Loera, Frances Perez, Irma Vega Gomez, Frank Loera, and late Grandpa, Jesus Perez. These elders were the soil that nourished his spirit.

Martin “Alex” was magnetic. He had the energy of a star, lighting up every room with a laugh, a hug, or a spontaneous “I love you.” A teacher at heart turned everyday conversations into lessons filled with love, grit, and growth.

A Creator, A Dreamer, A Fighter

Before 2018, Martin “Alex” was overflowing with creativity. He poured himself into music, fashion, and visual storytelling. His clothing line, Kush & Apples, was fully imagined and designed by him — raw and unapologetically real. He believed in greatness and carried himself with bold vision.

After a life-changing car accident in 2018, Martin “Alex” journey became one of rediscovery. Even through struggle, God’s grace carried him — and blessed him with another child, Ezekiel, in 2019. He moved to North Phoenix to be closer to his children and became more present than ever.

He found faith and accepted Christ as his Savior shortly before his passing. He carried Him in his heart — raw, honest, and real.

Martin’s “Alex” beloved emotional support dog, Baby, passed shortly before him. We believe they are reunited now — pain-free and watching over us.

A Special Tribute

Martin “Alex” shared a rare, one-of-a-kind co-parenting bond with Donaji Juarez and Angelica Gonzalez. Rooted in respect, growth, and love for their children, their united care created a supportive foundation and enduring family legacy that will carry on for generations.

A Legacy of Love

Martin “Alex” leaves more than memories — he leaves a legacy. Through his children, his voice, his designs, and the deep love he gave, he lives on. He taught us to cherish every smile, every moment, and every person who cares.

Bread crumbs he left behind:
Happy is a choice
You’ll suffer more in your mind than in reality
Growth takes time
Find the light inside

Now, we hold onto those words — guiding us home.

Rest easy, Martin “Alex” Perez.
Your battle is over. Your love remains. Your light shines on.
