Help Us Lay Lavarcia “Varci” Gaines to Rest

On August 15, 2026, our family experienced the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of Lavarcia Gaines, lovingly known as “Varci” to his family and those closest to him. Varci was only 26 years old, and his passing has left our family with a pain that words simply cannot describe.  Varci was a son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and loved one whose life ended far too soon. As our family tries to process this devastating loss, we are now faced with the difficult task of preparing to lay him to rest and giving him the homegoing he deserves.  On behalf of Varci’s mother and our family, we have created this fundraiser to help cover his funeral and burial expenses. All donations received through this fundraiser will go directly toward the funeral home and the costs associated with laying Varci to rest.

No donation is too small, and every contribution will help ease some of the financial burden on his mother and family during an already unimaginable time. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand and simply ask that you please share this fundraiser and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
