LaSaundra J. Elam

LaSaundra Elam, everyone knew her as “Bookie or LaLa”.
Her life began on February 15,1992 and she was born and
raised in Phoenix, Az. She was able to finish school, and she
worked as a caregiver and helped others, and she would go over
and beyond to help anyone. LaSaundra loved music and she
would always dance and sing her heart out. She wanted
everyone to be happy and laugh. She would go on a lot of family
trips with her family. She loved her family and it didn’t matter
what was going on in her life, she was still happy. She loved both
of her beautiful and amazing grandmothers Earline Hovey who
will cherish her memories, & Carol Revels who proceeded her
in death.

She grew up with her wonderful mother Belinda Brooks and
her amazing father Larry Elam Sr. She left behind her awesome
siblings Reshea Payton, Mark Payton, Trese Elam, Larry Elam
Jr., and Tourelle Caskey. She leaves behind her children
Demetrick Harrison, Delanie Harrison and La’Myra Elam. She
loved her children with her whole heart. She leaves behind her
Awesome Aunties, her Awesome Uncles, her beautiful Nieces
and Awesome Nephews, and so many cousins. She fought
so hard and did what she could. Her own words “Momma, you
are the strongest women I know, stay strong and I know you got
all 3 of my children” and I know you will take care of them.
LaSaundra impacted so many people with her personality, her
laughter, and her beautiful smile. She has no pain, no more
suffering and she is resting. She wants her family to be happy
and remember her laughter. Her memories that she left behind
will always remain in our heads and her love for all of us will
always be in our hearts, Always and Forever.
