There will be a walk through family greeting hour open to the public Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  Everyone that attends the walk through family greeting hour must exit the mortuary and parking lot of the mortuary promptly after greeting the family. NO GATHERING IN THE MORTUARY PARKING LOT WILL BE ALLOWED!!!   

Due to the Covid-19/Corona Virus Pandemic, the family has chosen a private memorial service by invitation only for 25 people on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 4:00PM. (Please note that current social distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced/FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN DURING ALL SERVICES.) We encourage you to use this website to share a memory of the loved one and or send condolences to the family.

THE OBITUARY

Kenneth Devere Thomas (Ken), 81 was born on August 31, 1939 and went to be in the presence of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 10, 2020 in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Ken was born to Alvilda and Devere Thomas in Cleveland, Ohio.  They had 5 children Ken, Ron, Jerry, Sandy, and Brenda.

As a child Ken grew up in Willoughby, Ohio until he left for Canada to work.  He then joined the Army National Guard in El Paso, Texas in 1962 where he met the love of his life Bertha Evelyn Valdez.  He and Bertha were married on June 1, 1963 and have enjoyed 57 years of endless love.  Their love Blessed them with two sons, Chris (Dawn) and Greg (Aly). 

Along with his sister in law Carol, Ken leaves a brother Jerry and a sister Sandy.  Ken also leaves behind four Grandchildren Larissa, Myles (Elaura) and Rome along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
