Jesus Vega Padilla born in 1949, devoted father to his 3 children, Sonia Montoya, Maria Padilla and Jesus Padilla Jr. (predeceased), always making sure they were cared for and supported.
He was also the proud grandfather of eleven grandkids and five great-grandkids, bringing joy and laughter to his ever-growing family. Jesus had a warm and friendly spirit, he loved to joke around, share stories of his adventures and connect with everyone he met. He was a gentle and caring man who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. No matter where he went, he made friends and left a lasting impression. He loved to grill, make fresh salsa, homemade tortilla chips and his favorite ceviche all while playing his rancheras and country music.
Jesus had a carefree soul, loved to travel from place to place, he lived out in the Navajo reservation for a few years and also learned to speak Navajo which recently surprised his family. He was a hardworking man in many different jobs from working as a supervisor at a pre-packing company, where he handled machinery that ran the conveyor belts, to driving diesel trucks that transported vegetables to be packed and shipped. He worked driving a tow truck, an ice cream truck and also was a taxi driver for many years. If you needed a ride whether from work or picked up from school, he would be there waiting in one of those vehicles.
