Jacqueline E. Shields, also known by her maiden name Jacqueline Rodriguez, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona, surrounded by loved ones, following complications from liver disease. She was 58.
Born June 11, 1967, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Samuel and Priscilla Rodriguez, of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Jacqueline earned her degree as a respiratory therapist before later working in bookkeeping until illness prevented her from continuing her career.
Jacqueline will be remembered most for her undeniable devotion to her only son, James Dillon Klever, who was the center of her world. She was his greatest supporter and fiercest advocate. Known for her outgoing personality, contagious laugh, and quick wit, Jacqueline left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Adrian Samuel Rodriguez.
She is survived by her son, James Dillon Klever of Scottsdale, Arizona; her parents, Samuel and Priscilla Rodriguez of Carlsbad, New Mexico; her sister Yvonne Faustinos and husband Eli Faustinos of Scottsdale, Arizona; niece Ashley Ochoa and husband Marco Ochoa of Glendale, Arizona; niece Amy Faustinos of Scottsdale, Arizona; and Ana Faustinos of Scottsdale, Arizona.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Love International Ministries, 5201 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona.
Jacqueline will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
