Henry Clark was born in Meeker, LA to the late Sam and Sarah Clark. At a young age the family moved to Houston, Texas.
Henry joined the military in 1963. The U.S. Navy recognized him for his service with the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Henry was very active with the American Legion. Upon discharge from the U.S. Navy in San Diego he was hired by Raytheon where he worked for 40 years.
Henry was previously married and from that union a daughter, Trina, and a son, Kelly, were born. After retiring from Raytheon, Henry moved to Arizona where he met and married Colleen White in 2014. They built a home in beautiful Encanterra where they found a loving community and made many friends. Henry and Colleen enjoyed hosting parties at the clubhouse and their home. He was known for his delicious ribs and smoked brisket. Henry became a staple at the Algarve pool and bar, where he watched sports with his buddies. Kelly, the bartender, got to know his favorite teams, seat, drink and food choices. They also shared football pools and stories. Henry was an avid bowler and enjoyed teaching it as well. Henry and Jerry Koehnstedt came up with the idea to start an Encanterra bowling league, which has grown to 14 teams and is going strong.
