Frank “Greg” Armenta was born on January 13, 1963, in Phoenix to Margaret and Frank Armenta.
He was raised in Phoenix alongside his three siblings. Growing up, Greg had a passion for sports and was known as one of the best pitchers in grade school. As he got older, he became an avid softball player, traveling to Houston for the Hispanic World Tournament, along with participating in three other out-of-state world tournaments.
He was a lifelong devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, remaining loyal to his team until the very end. From the ages of 8 to 13, Greg was a proud Boy Scout who loved camping and hunting. At 18 years old, he bought his first car, a 1964 Impala, which was one of many memories he cherished throughout his life.
Greg began his working career as a laborer for Tanner Companies in Phoenix. He later moved to Yuma, where he continued working for Tanner Companies as a ready-mix driver until his retirement. He became a father to his son Edward who gave him two beautiful granddaughters who he loved very much. Greg enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
Greg was called home on May 17, 2026, to join his mother, Margaret, brother, Danny and sister, Anna. He will be dearly missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
