It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Enedina Acosta-Baker born on April 23, 1958, on June17,2026. Enedina was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital to Noemi B BeJar and Pablo S Flores along with her two siblings Paul James Flores Jr. and Arthur Bejar Flores. She attained her early education from David Crockett Elementary School. She was an academic achiever and went on to graduate from East High School and the prestigious Bryman School for Nursing.  Her love for nursing led her to working at Valley of the Sun School & Habilitation Center for many years, then moved on to Brookdale Assisted Living as the Health and Wellness Director. She received many awards and achievements within the company and truly loved her employees and residents for 20 years. Her dedication towards helping others was truly inspirational.

Her religious faith was an essential aspect of her life. She was a devoted member of the Inglesia Apostolica Betania, where she was part of the choir, before moving to the Phoenix First Apostolic Church. Making her an individual that will be deeply missed by all.

Enedina entered into marriage and had a beautiful family of four Paul Joseph Acosta married Melissa, Aaron James Acosta married Sally Doreen Noemi Covarrubias married Jose Covarrubias Abraham Jason Acosta married Cindy Years later Enedina married again to her soulmate Floyd Baker Her “Papi” and united together for 25 years in marriage that came along with four more children Andrew Antonio Baker Victoria Myleaka Allen married Terence Delisa with husband Robert Courtess Baker married Celeste

She leaves behind a number of grandkids and great grandkids

Enedina's memory and the strength she had will forever be remembered and will continue to live in our hearts. Her contributions to her community and impact on the lives she touched will never be forgotten.
