Edward F. Rivera (Chino Fino) The Man, The Myth, The Legend
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward F. Rivera who was 83yrs old, on May 14th, 2025. Edward lived a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Edward spent his life surrounded by the warmth of family, friends, and community. He worked for many years at AG/Fleming Foods Warehouse, where his hard work and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Edward is survived by his devoted wife, Mary, his children, Ricky and Patricia, his sister, Sabrina, and his beloved grandchildren, Markie, Christian, Jessica, Vanessa, and Tommy. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Edward was known for his easygoing nature, sense of humor, and passion for life. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Manny, often reminiscing and laughing about their many shared adventures. A true lover of the outdoors, he found joy in gardening and yard work, always working with pride to make his home a place of beauty. When it came to cooking, Edward was a master of creating wild, flavorful concoctions—especially when it involved his favorite ingredient, green chili.
