Durousher Laron "Pluggie" Hutchinson

Durosher Hutchinson, affectionately known as “Pluggie,” was born on June 3, 1972, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Geraldine McDonald Hutchinson and Otto Hutchinson. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and companion.

Pluggie grew up on the West Side of Phoenix, where he attended Dunbar, Bethune, and Herrera Elementary Schools. He later earned his GED while incarcerated. Pluggie had a somewhat difficult upbringing, but the Lord saw fit to grant him His pardon and guide him through his journey.

Pluggie was the life of the party. He enjoyed picnics, barbecues, music, family gatherings, and simply enjoying life, but most of all, he loved his family. He was a peacemaker and the “call center” for all emergencies. Anyone could call him at any time, and he was always there to offer words of encouragement, comfort, and support. He was loved by all, and that was simply the person he was.

Pluggie departed this life, earned his wings, and is now reunited with his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Hutchinson; his father, Otto Hutchinson; his sisters, Lavonna, Domineca, Christie and Gwendalyn Irvin; his brother, Gary; his niece, Delecia; his great-nephew, Armon Jr.; his children’s mother, Debra; and the love of his life, Gloria.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Lisa McDade (Donald McDade), his brother Fred Venerable; his sons, Kevin, Darron, and Johnathon; his daughter, Special; six grandchildren, Kevyon, Queen, Kalani, Skailar, Darron Jr., and Kasn; his bonus granddaughter, Promise; eight nephews; six nieces; 17 great-nieces; 16 great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; his two best friends, Breed and Denise; and a host of family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

May his memory continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
