Daniel Lee Edwards was born on November 29, 1962, in Sunflower, Mississippi, to Marjorie "Margie" Edwards and Robert Carter. Daniel was raised by his maternal grandmother, Alma Edwards, who instilled in him strong values and a deep sense of faith. All three preceded him in death.
At the tender age of 8, Daniel dedicated his life to Christ at Lily of the Valley Church of God in Christ in Doddsville, Mississippi. He served actively in the choir as an usher. He later became a faithful member of King Solomon Temple #1 in Phoenix, Arizona, and continued to worship from home when his health declined.
Daniel received his education in Sunflower County, attending Blaine Elementary, Ruleville Junior High, and Ruleville Central High School. After graduation, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Known for his fashion sense and advice, Daniel earned a degree in Construction Engineering and became a Master Journeyman Electrician, a career he loved.
Daniel was a devoted father to his daughters, Leah and Jasmyn Edwards, and a proud grandfather. He later married Susie Jacobo Edwards and gained a loving stepson Jason Peterman.
Known affectionately as "Tiny", Daniel was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a warm, friendly spirit and never met a stranger.
Daniel leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Susie Jacobo Edwards; daughters, Leah and Jasmyn; Grandson; Julius, Janeiro and Devonaire; siblings, Larry (Kale) and Karleshia Anderson, Beatrice Owens, Emma Harris, and Pamela Anderson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
