Mr. Curtis Masters was born on July 16, 1953, to Mr. Richard Sr. and Mrs. Senora Masters in Eloy, Arizona. He was the six of the ten children. Curtis was known as “Curt” by close friends and family. He was a very good artist and love drawing pictures of JESUS for his mother aka Big Mama.

Curtis “Curt” attended the schools in Eloy, Arizona. He graduated from 8 grade into high school, but he didn’t want to continue with his education. He had other plans for his life. He started working at the age of 15 years old as a farm worker where he worked for several years.

He later worked for the City of Eloy for several years however his passion was to be a Field Worker, and he continued his career driving tractors. As a young man, he met Dorothy Banks and from this unity they were blessed with a son, Curtis Banks. Later down the years, Curtis met Sherry Mulholland at a birthday party in Eloy. He married the love of his life, Ms. Sherry Mulholland on October 15, 2011. They shared mutual adoration and devotion to one another. They enjoyed watching cowboy movies and reading and talking about the Bible.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Mulholland-Masters, his parents, Richard Sr. and Senora Masters, two brothers: Richard Masters Jr. and Jimmy Lee Masters Sr. one brother-in-law, Henry B. Williams Jr., one sister, Cornelia Masters and one sister-in-law, Laura Mae Washington (Masters)

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Curtis Banks Sr and daughter-in-law Tasha Johnson Banks, two grandsons Tyshon Banks and Curtis Banks Jr, one granddaughter, Tacurshia Banks, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Elroy Masters (Willie M. Masters), Jerry Masters; four sisters: Alma Williams, Helen Osborne, Elsie Payne (Jack Payne) Margie Thomas (Elvin Thomas), one sister-in-law, Josephine Starling and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Curtis “Curtis” will truly be missed by all whom he came in contact with.
