Angela Lorraine Pulliam, 60, of Phoenix, passed away on March 13, 2026. She was born on June 7, 1965, in Howardsville, Missouri.
Angela was a woman of intellect, creativity, and compassion. From a young age, she carried a love for learning and a vision for inspiring others. She pursued her education at South Mountain Community College and went on to earn both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social and Cultural Pedagogy from Arizona State University in 2022.
Angela dedicated her life to uplifting others. As a GED instructor with Recovery Innovations, she empowered individuals to rediscover their potential and pursue new beginnings. She had a remarkable ability to see the good in people and encourage them to grow with confidence and purpose.
She found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. Angela loved gardening and transformed her surroundings into vibrant, peaceful spaces. She had a passion for fashion and self-expression, carrying herself with confidence, style, and grace. She also enjoyed collecting coins, baseball cards, and books—treasures that reflected her curiosity and appreciation for history and detail.
Above all, Angela cherished her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Known affectionately as “Gigi,” she poured love, laughter, and wisdom into her grandchildren. Her warm spirit, vibrant personality, and unforgettable sense of humor brought light to all who knew her.
Angela is survived by her children: Tierra (Leila), Keenan (Kristionna, Kerryonna, Keenan, Kenya), Marcee (Savannah, Saya, Atre’us, Makai), India (Jr.) (Noa), Cheyenne, and Mykene; bonus daughters, Christy Jenkins (Khya) and Amber; siblings, Charles Jr. (Jenea) of Texas, Michael of Columbia, Missouri, Veronique, Erin, and Dani of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandmother, Carrie Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona; along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, William Young; aunt Diane and her husband James of Phoenix, Arizona; and Aunt Gloria Smith of Columbia, Missouri.
Angela’s life was one of growth, resilience, and beauty. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and inspiration that will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
